Subscribe to UOD Events Calendar
The UOD Google Workspace now offers the ability to subscribe to an Events Calendar. When you SUBSCRIBE to the Events Calendar, as events are added they will show up automatically on your personal calendar, and you will receive notifications in your email or SMS on any updates. You can find the subscription link on your calendar page to the left. Helps, Video casts and YouTube videos are available to get you going.
Access My-Timetable
Every Classroom at UOD has its own Google calendar. You may find it at calendar.google.com. You may add events pertaining to the specific class, such as assignments, reminders, and so on, to this calendar, and all of your students will have access to it. Likewise, you may also add events to this calendar and alter the visibility of the event to private, or you can create a new calendar and keep the entire calendar private for your lessons.
How can I subscribe to the UOD Events calendar?
You can view UOD Events calendar which is shared with everyone at UOD. This calendar provides you with all UOD wide events schedules and updates. A web view is provided at the lower section of this page, and it is available in the bottom section of all OUD official pages.
Important: You can only search for a calendar you’d like to subscribe to when you use Google Calendar on a computer or mobile browser.
Step 1: Ask to view a calendar
On your computer, open Google Calendar.
On the left, next to “Other calendars,” click Add Subscribe to calendar. If the calendar has been shared with you, you’ll get an email.
In the “Add calendar” box, enter the person's email address, or select one from the list.
Press Enter.
Depending on whether their calendar is shared, one of the following happens:
If the calendar isn't shared with you, we'll prompt you to request access.
If the calendar is already shared with you, their calendar will be added on the left side under "Other calendars."
If the other person doesn't have a Google Calendar, we'll prompt you to invite them to use Google Calendar.
